You can influence our planning for healthcare delivery over the coming years.
Our local GPs, hospitals, community services, ambulance services, social care providers and civil society partners make that NHS world-class. Its partners in social care and local councils contribute equally to its success. As the NHS turns 70 next year, it’s our responsibility to shape the local NHS so it continues to improve patient outcomes; drive up quality, provide place-based care at the right time and remains affordable and sustainable.
West Essex CCG would like you to attend one of its ‘Healthier Futures’ events to help us explore new ways of breaking down barriers between organisations to provide a more joined-up approach to delivering healthcare in the community, GP practices and hospitals to better meet the needs of people locally.
This is your chance to engage with some really critical issues within wellbeing, health and social care, like –
- Receiving care closer to home in the community
- Hospitals doing what they do best; treating those most in need and complex conditions
- Reducing the barriers between services provided by the NHS, local councils and other providers
- Continuing to drive up quality and the accessibility of services
There are two events in two different locations during July.
You are welcome to attend whichever location/date would be most convenient for you:
- 11 July – Murray Hall, Loughton 12.00 – 16.00
- 18 July – Foakes Hall, Dunmow 12.00 – 16.00
Lunch will be provided at 12.00 for a 13.00 start. A full agenda is attached
We will be asking for your views on the model of care provided in our hospitals, in primary care and in the community. In addition we will discuss how we work with our partners in the local NHS and social care to transform and sustain services.
What you tell us will directly influence our planning for healthcare delivery over the coming years.
